HCSS Partners with BuildWitt to Help Tackle Workforce Problems in Heavy Construction

Integration Between HCSS Academy and BuildWitt Training Program

SUGAR LAND, TX – November 18, 2022 – HCSS, a leading provider of innovative software that helps civil construction businesses streamline their operations, announces a partnership with BuildWitt, which empowers companies in the construction and heavy civil industries to train and serve their teams. The partnership will help solve the workforce issues the construction industry is facing. With a dwindling recruiting pool, companies can’t keep crews fully staffed to meet demands, and the problem is only growing with time.

The two companies will combine their resources to bring awareness to the issue and help companies access solutions to meet their specific needs. They will be exploring multiple projects over the next few months including ways to integrate or share content between the HCSS Academy, an online learning environment with training courses on HCSS products, and the BuildWitt Training platform, which offers real-world construction job courses to help companies train more effectively.

“HCSS has always remained committed to being a driver of progress for our customers and the construction industry, at large. With this BuildWitt partnership, we are looking forward to pushing that mission further by equipping the industry with the right tools it needs to attract and retain an engaged workforce,” says Kishan Patel, Vice President of Product at HCSS.

Since 2018, BuildWitt has been addressing common workforce problems by providing media and marketing services to companies in the Dirt World (i.e., infrastructure, earthmoving, utilities, site work, demolition, mining, materials, heavy equipment dealers, and supporting vendors).

“We’re excited about the potential this partnership brings. HCSS has been serving the Dirt World industry for decades, and a big percentage of the industry uses their software to run critical parts of their business. Working together, we can improve training for the current workforce in the field and in the office while also attracting and training the next generation” says Dan Briscoe, President at BuildWitt.

HCSS is the trusted leader in construction estimating, operations, and fleet software. Since 1986, HCSS has been helping customers dramatically improve their business with solutions to support the entire life cycle of their construction projects.

“We're always looking for new ways to empower our customers with the right tools, knowledge, and training. We hope this partnership with BuildWitt will not only help our customers get more access to the information they need to get the most out of their software, but also to solve some of the most pressing issues in their business and the industry,” says Admir Hadziabulic, Senior Vice President of Services at HCSS.
